The article considers an approach to assessing the economic efficiency of projects for the development of active sports and recreation on the water in the Kemerovo region, including income from various activities (production of goods and sale of services). A simplified scheme for calculating the economic efficiency of the project in the field of production, rental of equipment and equipment for active sports, recreation and tourism on the water in the Kemerovo region is given. To assess the effectiveness of such projects, they are presented as classic investment projects, as products in them are self-produced equipment, as well as their rental services. The use of an optimization financial and analytical software package makes it possible to assess the economic efficiency of projects that receive income from various types of production and commercial activities, and to compare them in terms of net present value (NPV). The approach and methodology of evaluating the economic efficiency of projects considered in the article allows us to compare various forms of development of active sports and recreation on the water according to the NPV indicator, and in the future adapt them for any types of activities of enterprises and organizations that produce products and provide relevant services.
