Integrated evaluation of socio-economic development of Russia's regions

This paper presents the findings of an assessment of socio-economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation on the basis of calculation of the integral indicator of the level of development. Experimental calculations have been performed for the 2000 - 2008 years according to 79 regions of Russia in the context of the federal districts without isolation of the Chechen Republic (due to lack of data for this period), and autonomous okrugs (excluding Chukotka), the last two were seen as components of the parent region.
