Comprehensive assessment of the living standards in Russian regions: medium-term perspectives

Introduction: improving the population living standard is one of the main tasks facing public authorities in the Russian Federation. At the same time, this concept itself is interpreted ambiguously, which makes quantitative assessment difficult. Forecasting its change is even more difficult, since there is an influence of many heterogeneous factors. However, it is impossible to make effective decisions in the sphere of territorial socio-economic development without a scientifically substantiated forecast.
