The article provides the unique methods for study self-esteem and value orientations; reveals the relationship between these core phenomena of personality. There is shown that the developed by us methods for measuring self-esteem important for the professional activities of individual personality and qualities of mind necessary for successful joint activities, in unity with the value orientations of the group members, allow to define and reflect in the business game deficits, resources and prospects of professional improvement of the individual and collective subject.
