Complex development of the territory: determination of definition essence

The author's interpretation of the concept of a "complex territorial development project" is proposed. The application of the project approach to solve the problems of the development of the territory in a complex is substantiated. It is shown that when developing a strategy for integrated development of the territory, it is expedient to form industry clusters, which allows to concentrate investment funds in priority areas. As a result, the directions for increasing the efficiency of state regulation of the development of the territories through the implementation of complex projects have been determined.
