We analyzed evolution of the magnetic activity on the Sun in the current cycle. Evolution of activity complexes was studied in correlation with solar flare activity. We used some events to examine the formation of unipolar magnetic regions after the decay of long-term activity complexes. According to the latitude-time analysis, the unipolar magnetic regions are transported to the Sun’s poles. The north-south asymmetry of magnetic activity in the current cycle was found to be responsible for the asynchronous reversal of the magnetic field on the Sun’s north and south poles.
