Composition of G.A. Kancheli's works as manifestation of arrangement in music

The article discusses understanding of the specific features of compositional solutions in the works of the great composer of our time Giya Kancheli. The author considers the principles of single-movement and "compositional ellipsis". The peculiarities of the thematic progress are described. It is proven that the specifics of composition in Kancheli's works is associated with the arrangement as one of the characteristic features of the modern art.
