Conceptions of an image of a bear in Russian mentality

This article is devoted to question of definition of an image of a bear in Russian mentality. Reverence for a bear is an important element of our culture and ethnic traditions. For the centuries the image of a bear has changed greatly, having interlaced with other religious and mythological images.
