Concepts of human health in the history of philosophy and medicine

The article considers health as a complex object of cognition. Philosophers of different epochs made up an impressive number of interpretations of the concept of "health", tried to understand its versatility based on various approaches. Here, such concepts as "pre-illness" and "illness" are analyzed, and a dialectical approach is also taken into account. In addition, the history of medicine, the importance of philosophy in the formation of the physician's personality is touched upon. The article reveals a modern understanding of health depending on different approaches.
