The development of information technology opens up new opportunities for developing ways to reduce operating costs. The most developed and justified approach is the creation of a single information space of the life cycle of machines, which allows to create, produce and operate machines in one information field. Information support of life cycle processes includes management technologies and data management technologies implemented in an integrated information environment, which is a set of distributed databases containing information about products, production environment, resources and processes of an enterprise, ensuring the correctness, relevance, safety and availability of data. Due to a number of limiting factors, it is advisable to implement “entry points” into a single information environment by creating independent specialized databases and knowledge bases focused on regional and sectoral features of the agricultural machinery fleet.
