The conception of Hegel’s Religion of Revelation was created at a time that is rightfully considered to be a beginning of the Science of Philosophy epoch, which culminated in the system of Absolute Idealism. It suggests a synthesis of classical Christian theology with the universal dialectic of thinking and being (speculative philosophy), and so establishes a universal Science of Reason. This highest possible synthesis should become the key factor in a reorientation of the modern spiritual culture towards the reasonable understanding of life which is not abstract-rational (positivistic, materialistic, pragmatic, postmodern, etc.), but aims for an absolute knowledge that expresses itself in such principles and values of the Christian Religion of Revelation like reasonableness, freedom, love, equality, brotherhood, conciliarism, compassion, diligence, spiritual protection of one’s own people and their great culture.
