Бесплатный доступ

This scientific article analyzes the concept of a secular state, its essence and functions. The presence of the concepts and structural elements of freedom of conscience and secularism presented in the article allows us to identify the main areas of interaction between the state and religion and the points of intersection, as well as to describe the model of state-confessional relations. This, in turn, is directly related to the socio-political development and cultural values of each state. The activities to ensure freedom of conscience and tolerance within the framework of reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years were also studied.
