The concept of "digital immortality" in the modern theory of culture

This article is devoted to problem of digital immortality. On the basis of notions of Russian cosmism, transgumanism and postmodernism, the authors analyses different approaches to the immorality and the main barriers issues of human nature transformation. It examined research projects and computer technology, allowing the human consciousness simulates, it disclosed definition of «digital immortality» and «immortalism». Also, it investigated the question of digital immortality in Internet-based sociocultural environment. It showed how the concept of «digital immortality» is relevant in the modern experience.
