Concept as an object of linguistics

The present article is included into the series of the author's articles devoted to the research of “concept” as an object of linguistics. The term “concept” is analyzed from the point of view of psychomechanics. Concept is regarded as a cognitive correlate of the lingvosemiotic unit, as an operative unit or a category of thought formed in the process of thinking and communication. Concepts unlike notions are formed in a natural way, in the same way words appear in the language.
