Understanding the concept of «happiness» by the characters of I. Goncharov is one of the basic reasons for associating his three novels - The Usual Story, Oblomov, and The Precipice in the trilogy. Besides it allows us to see some unexpected features of likeness in the characters of Oblomov and Shtoltz.
