Sphere of concepts in M. Zhigzhytov’s trilogy «Podlemorye» (by the sea) as reflection of the author’s point of view

The article analyzes the main concepts, which are parts of the Buryat writer M. Zhigzhytov’s imaginative picture of the world in the novel «Podlemorye» (By the Sea). This artwork shows the different forms of aesthetic realization of the author's intention in description of the beautiful nature. The main concept Lake Baikal serves as the center of not only economic activities of the local population such as fishermen, hunters of seals, knitter networks, coopers, merchants, but also described by the author as the center of the universe, and the source of spiritual energy. The secondary or minor concepts are the mountains (goltsy) and trees (taiga). The article also reveals the literary landscape as an expression of the author's position, the author's attitude to the phenomena of nature in terms of their impact on the characters’ fate.
