Conceptualization of the category of ethno-political security in modern political science discourse

The purpose of the article is the political analysis of the definition of ethno-political security. On the base of application of research opportunities of system-synergetic methodology to the analysis of safety of ethno-political space of the polyethnic region of the Russian Federation in the conditions of modern modernization challenges and threats, the author developed a methodological matrix of the category of ethno-political security. She considers modern threats to national security at the regional level. The article gives the definition of ethno-political security, and sets goals aimed at improving the efficiency of ethno-political security in the context of modern challenges and threats.
