Conceptualization of the notion of "civilian control" in sociological knowledge

This article is devoted to the sociological study of the concept of "civilian control", which has had a long tradition of studying in philosophy. In the framework of social science the phenomenon of "civilian control" is considered in different ways, thus forming multi-faceted prospects of its research, but at the same time demonstrating the need for better understanding the sociological perception of the given social phenomenon with clear conceptual apparatus and methodology of the study, which would be adequate to the reality.
