The article examines the conceptual metaphor in the campaign speech of the presidential candidate Joe Biden. In the speech of the Democratic presidential candidate, metaphorical models describing the political situation in the United States are implemented. Figurative expressions in the structure of Joe Biden's speech give expressiveness to his speech.
