Conceptual model of personnel motivation system in retail enterprises

This article addresses the problem of the low efficiency of the existing staff motivation systems in the retail sector, and as a result – low labor productivity, high turnover rate, etc. The purpose of this study was to improve the staff motivation system in the retail sector, taking into account its specific features. Based on the results of the study, a conceptual model of the staff motivation system is proposed, which will increase the employees’ interest and involvement in the company’s affairs; increase labor productivity and efficiency of the staff; strengthen the corporate culture and team spirit; reduce the costs of recruiting and training new employees by reducing the turnover rate. In retail enterprises, the conceptual model can be implemented by introducing various methods of motivation, such as holding contests among employees, increasing their overall level of motivation, and improving their performance.Also, taking into account the individual needs of employees, implementing flexible schedules that have a positive impact on staff satisfaction. And organizing courses and trainings helps to improve the skills of employees and creates opportunities for further career growth.
