Conceptual development of the category of political unity at the present stage: review and analysis of historiography

The article analyzes the sources, the subject of which or in which the topic of political unity is touched upon. The author considers the existing scientific points of view about the content and essence of the category of political unity in order to determine the degree of scientific development of the concept of this category (the concept of nature, factors, types, basic universal features, political unity, differentiation of content with related concepts).
