Conceptual aspects of the implementation of the right to dismiss military personnel from the armed forces of the Russian Federation

Modern military legislation makes it almost impossible to dismiss a serviceman at will without the consent of the commander, while creating certain corruption risks. This study allows military personnel to legally exercise their constitutional right to freely choose a profession by dismissing them from military service. The paper examines the grounds for dismissal from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the principles of dismissal, the algorithm of actions during dismissal, and also reveals the threats that a serviceman may face when terminating a contract, as well as measures to counteract them. As a result, any serviceman, following the recommendations presented in this article, has the opportunity to return the rights and freedoms that were significantly restricted during the period of service.
