In the current article opportunities for the analysis of internationalization processes of Russian innovative small and medium enterprises are revealed using conceptual and practical approaches in the context of changing external economic profile of the Russian Federation under the pressure of exogenous factors and launching state programs of supporting non-primary, non-energy exports. The article considers the experience of creating the data-base of case-studies on internationalization of Russian innovative small and medium enterprises within the Master program "International Economy".
