Conceptual ideas of professor V.P. Lavrov and their contribution to the development of private forensic theories and forensic teachings

The article presents an analysis of fundamental and applied research of the famous Russian criminalist scientist Professor V. P. Lavrov, whose numerous fundamental ideas, concepts, world outlook positions laid the foundation for the formation and development of the general theory of criminalistics, criminalistic tactics and methods of investigation of certain types of crimes. Attention is drawn to the contribution of Professor V. P. Lavrov to the formation of theoretical foundations of criminalistic doctrines on criminalistic support of detection and investigation of crimes, on the organisation of crime investigation. It is noted that the resolution of controversial issues raised by Vladimir Petrovich will allow more than one generation of modern and future scientists to comprehend the subject of criminalistics and other areas of scientific knowledge in order to counter modern challenges and threats, as well as to solve the most pressing problems on the basis of innovative development of science and technology.
