The article is devoted to a review of methods and practical approaches to market value analysis of a company. Moreover, methods are divided into direct (market) methods and indirect methods. The author’s approach involves analyzing market value of a company in the context of reporting information transparency in the framework of sustainable development analysis and business-analysis. Honest business activities, disclosure of relevant information to key stakeholders, including potential investors and other lenders, are among the best business practices. At the same time, following the best practices of corporate governance is the basis for creating positive business reputation, which is considered as one of the key factors in ensuring financial stability of a company. It is proposed to take market value of a company as an indicator of successful impact of positive business reputation on financial sustainability of an economic entity. On the one hand, market value of a company reflects the degree of satisfaction of key stakeholders in terms of business activities, on the other hand, - satisfaction with the level of reporting information transparency provided by external users reporting.
