The article carries out a sociological analysis of the effectiveness of the Parliament of the Republic of Northern Ossetia-Alania on the basis of expert interviews conducted in March-April 2015 in the context of quantitative and qualitative indicators of law-making. Basing upon the research results the author presents conceptual approaches to evaluation of the legislature effectiveness in the region.
