Conceptual framework for the study of labor youth migration

The observed growth of research interest in the migration of young people requires the formation of an adequate theoretical and methodological basis for its study, without which it is impossible to understand the essence of the phenomenon, as well as the understanding of related and triggering factors. This paper defines the conceptual framework for the study of labor migration of young people. Their understanding is necessary for the construction of hypotheses, accumulation and formation of empirical data and the formulation of conclusions in the study of this phenomenon in the framework of the project no. 18-410-220015 Study of socio-environmental determination of migration and labor behavior of young people of the Altai region, supported by the Russian Foundation for basic research. The author refers to the results of similar studies conducted in Russia and abroad, determining the place of labor migration in General, determining the age and qualification characteristics of youth migration.
