The article presents the results of a study of mental space: the focus of media geographic analysis is the dynamics of the behavior of the global Internet audience in relation to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The empirical basis of the study is the statistics of the Google Trends and Google Books systems. The big data analysis was carried out based on the methods of rank, mediametric and content analysis implemented in the spatial-temporal coordinate system. The results of the study allow us to form an idea of the moods of citizens of different countries of the world in relation to the events in the Middle East. The level of interest in this topic correlates with the topic of World War III. Search engines record changes in the nature of Internet user queries about events in the Middle East: from Palestinian-Israeli conflict to Middle East and world war. Confrontations of different levels, scales and natures (from information warfare to armed clashes) represent a new version of world war, which is transforming the system of international relations. The results of the study of the state of mental landscapes of countries of the world make it possible to determine the nature of citizens' reactions to events in the international sphere, to form an idea of their moods, to identify conflict zones, to predict the social behavior of the population and to develop mechanisms for maintaining international security.
