Conflict nature of discourse media practices in the context of the risk-reflection

In the context of the constant relevance of the conflict potential of modern media, it is necessary to consider the role of using an information product in a conflict as an integral tool for implementing impact on social and political processes, institutions of society at the state and international level. The authors attempt to answer the question about the role of discursive media practices in conflict in the context of manipulation and generation of a discourse of enmity. In the context of the media sphere, the problem of the role of the media in inciting hostility, artificial modulation of the conflict, the formation of the image of an alien, the formation of destructive risk-reflection regarding threats that cause concern among citizens becomes urgent. The novelty of this work lies in the understanding of the aspect of the conflict potential of discourse practices in the media through critical discourse analysis, coupled with conflictological interdisciplinary tools. The significance of the study lies in identifying and classifying the main strategies for manipulating discourse in the media sphere. The deliberative component will allow channeling contradictions, protest moods, thereby providing the state with an opportunity to act in the settlement of the conflict.
