The paper studies goals and objectives of the modern auto shows. Besides demonstration of the latest technological advances and design solutions in the vehicles construction, the motor showrooms allow automakers to promote their achievements, compete, evaluate the customers’ solvency and the condition of the market and its diversity. The authors consider the specific features of the Moscow Motor Show, in particular, note the orientation of the domestic automobile production on sale of off-roaders and crossovers.
