Competition theory in political science: ethnic competition in the Republic of Dagestan

The article examines the ethnic competition theory, and the ethno-political situation in the multi-ethnic Republic of Dagestan. The author pays a special attention to the theoretical analysis of the competitive theory and the concept of ethno-political competition. In the example of Dagestan, the author shows determinants of development and risk.
