The article is devoted to a topical problem that is the employment of university graduates. Various types of resume were analysed. The structure of a portfolio which was developed in the branch of SEI of HPE «Russian state humanitarian university» in Kaliningrad was offered. This type of portfolio provides the formation of the basic components of competitiveness for graduates of managerial majors.
