Competitiveness amid the crisis: regional aspect

Due to the crisis of modern economy functioning the competitiveness is becoming a key factor which determines a subject's position on the global, national, and regional levels. The article carries out a research of various factors of the region's competitiveness. The author elicits that under the conditions of crisis the competitiveness of a region mostly depends on the innovative technologies implementation and areal resources: location, low-cost labour, etc.
