Annotated checklist of the flora of Sverdlovsk region. Part IV: dicotyledonous plants (Empetraceae - Droseraceae)

This article presents for the first time a detailed checklist of the flora of dicotyledonous plants (family Empetraceae - Droseraceae ) of the Sverdlovsk Region, based on multi-years field research, a critical study of herbarium materials and literature sources. Part IV of the checklist includes 195 species, 2 subspecies and 4 interspecific hybrids of wild plants, as well as 37 of the most common cultivated plants. For all species, information is given on the occurrence in botanical-geographical districts and administrative districts of the region. In the checklist for species were noted bioecological features are indicated (life form according to K. Raunkier and I.G. Serebryakov, coenotic groups and ecological groups towards moistening), zonal and longitudinal arealogic groups, economic significance. For the alien species in addition were noted origin, migration technique, and level of reached naturalization achieved in the region are additionally indicated. Species in need of protection in the region were noted. The article discusses the contribution of P.L. Gorchakovsky to the study of the plant cover of the Urals and the development of botanical research in the Urals.
