Constitutional guarantees of freedom of mass information

Purpose: Research of constitutional legal support of activity of mass media in the Russian Federation. Methodology: Historical and legal and formally legal methods were used. Results: Constitutional legal support of activity of mass media urges to create activity of information streams, to create conditions for development of civil society, civilized dialogue between the power, society and citizens, and also to provide comfortable conditions for professional activity of journalists and to redirect the social conflicts to the area of constructive discussions. Novelty/originality/value: Аrticle has the high scientific value as is one of the few attempts to consider a collision in the sphere of constitutional legal support of mass media in the Russian Federation, and also offers rational ways of elimination of a collision.
