Constitutional transformations 2020 and their influence on the formation of constitutional legal consciousness

The main purpose of this research is to substantiate the author’s convictions about the key role of constitutional legal consciousness in the process of constitutional reform, since the level and quality of this explain the existing problems of constitutional theory and practice. The article analyzes and evaluates the following constitutional amendments in 2020: the practical feasibility of constitutional changes, the organization and conduct of a nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the RF, the inadmissibility of the RF imposition of a “Western system of values” and “European legal consciousness”, improvement of the public power system, the role of the President in the mechanism of government and its position among government bodies, etc.
