The construction of the female politician's image in Russia: problems and advantages

Today, women are actively pursuing politic sphere, holding top government posts, and participating in government at the federal and municipal levels. However, the area of women's political image making is still insufficiently studied. Most Russian women politicians shape their image based on male techniques. However, the electorate perceives women quite differently than men; in addition, the gender stereotyping of politics is an extremely acute issue for Russia, which must be taken into account.
