Conventionality of functioning of langage SMS

This article is devoted to the functioning of language SMS, a language of the social networks, based on French. The article gives the users’ analyzed messages written in language SMS and the general concepts of the derivation of this language. Also in the article there are the opinions of the researchers and the users of the social networks related to language SMS. The analysis of the messages lets conclude that the communication in this language not always can perform its the main function - communicative.
