The Koreans of the southern part of the Russian Far East in 1920-1930: colonization and collectivization

The article deals with the Korean emigrants' naturalization process. They came to the Russian Far East during the revolution and Civil War. Special attention is paid to the issue of providing Korean emigrants with land. Based on the Far Eastern archived data introduced for the first time, the authors research the history of the Korean peasantry collectivization. The paper analyzes the number of Korean emigrants involved in colonization and collectivization, as well as the qualitative characteristics of these processes.
