The small indigenous ethnic communities of the Far East of Russia: from the traditional society to the industrial one

The author presents a scientific picture of the transition of the Far Eastern indigenous peoples from the patriarchal communal society to the industrial one. The article shows the changes of the social-cultural image of the indigenous ethnic communities under the pressure of the state national policy of the Soviet period.
