As shown, the intensive aurora-type airglows and short-period geomagnetic pulsations of the 1-2 hour duration were observed simultaneously during super storms in 2003. The intensity of the night pulsations might sharply decrease during the glows due to deterioration of conditions of their propagation through the ionosphere. The mid-latitude aurora-type airglows were registered in Irkutsk on October 30 and November 20, 2003 during the intensive geomagnetic storms with minimum Dst index of -401 и -427 nT and maximum Kp index of 90 и 9- respectively. The glows were often accompanied by intensive long- and short-period pulsations according to the data of the magnetic observatory in Mondy (51°37'N, 101°00'E).
