The article examines the patterns and trends in the development of social responsibility of business, ensuring the achievement of the company's strategic goals, sustainable development of the organization and effective social management. The influence of the organization's social values on the final results of operations, the social well-being of employees, their confidence in the future, as well as the formation of a positive image of the company in the market is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the development of the Corporate Code as a tool for the development of social responsibility.
