Correlative relationship between culture and civilization (methodological aspects)

This article reviews the basic methodological approaches to the study of culture, questions of its essence, classification, dialectic relationship between the concepts of culture and civilization through the prism of the “general”, “special” and “single” categories. The authors argue with some existing opinions on these issues and offer new solutions. This article is meant for science methodologists, teachers, lecturers, supervisors, bachelors, masters, post-graduate students, doctoral students and for everyone who is interested in the problems of philosophy of culture, social philosophy, cognitive psychology and political culture.
