Corruption of military personnel as a subject of dissertation research. The review about the dissertation of A. A. Volkov

The paper assesses the manuscript of the dissertation of Artem Volkov on the topic “Corruption of military personnel (based on the materials of the Far East of the Russian Federation)”, submitted for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in the specialty 12.00.08 “Criminal Law and Criminology; Criminal enforcement law”. The article contains an analysis of the relevance and novelty of the conducted research, the completeness and reliability of its results. The advantages of the work done are noted, as well as some problematic issues that received a reasoned answer during the public defense held in October 2020 at the meeting of the joint dissertation council D 999.126.03 are outlined.
