Corruptogenic nature of some regulations of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the problems of their law enforcement

The article mainly deals with the criminal law articles which regulate the imposition of punishment in connection with some mitigating circumstances in the absence of any criteria for the court to be guided in choosing a particular regulation, which allows the law enforcers to manifest their inner conviction out of control and leads (can lead) to the corruption manifestations in decisions, thus, it characterizes the given regulation as highly corruptogenic. The author believes that current situation requires a radical change.
