Cortisol, dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate and their correlation in alcoholic patients

In this article results of measuring of Cortisol and dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate concentrations in patients with alcoholism in various stages of disease are represented. Serum level of Cortisol was increased in patients with alcoholism in abstinence syndrome and in a remission stage in comparison with control group is revealed. Dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate level is raised in alcoholic patient, being in abstinence syndrome.
