China’s space activities: military and political aspect

The development of China’s space program has a growing impact on the international military and political relations for several reasons. Notably, China participates in building up of the international regimes governing the space activities, intensifies cooperation with developed and developing countries in the space field, shares conflicting interests with other space-faring nations. Finally, the space systems play a crucial role in modernization of China's armed forces. This paper presents the analysis of Chinese space program’s current state and its impact on the military and political affairs.
