Cosmic factors and human biological rhythms

Бесплатный доступ

A non-systematic review on possible mechanisms of the influence of cosmic factors (solar wind speed, geomagnetic storms, lunar cycle) on biological rhythms and human health is presented. Among the few non-invasive and accessible for daily mass monitoring of physiological indicators are blood pressure and pulse, as well as heart rate variability (HRV). The effects of cosmic factors include their changes, as well as decreased levels of melatonin and worse sleep patterns. The main synchronizer of circadian (daily) rhythms in the human body is the sleep-wake rhythm and lighting. Self-assessment affect of various factors on health is possible when using applications that collect data on space, weather factors and lifestyles with an assessment of their impact on heart rate variability.
