Bone arrow heads from the Ulug-Choltukh burial ground in the Middle Katun (based on materials of Southern Siberian team)

The an article describes bone arrowheads from the Ulug-Choltukh burial ground located in the valley of the Edigan River, a right-hand tributary of the Katun River excavated by the Southern Siberian team of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography SB RAS in 2001, 2005 and 2008. The bone arrowheads are analyzed and classified into several groups by the formal features. Most of the arrowheads represent the type with a forked socket. This type includes the arrowheads of the elongated pentagonal form with trilateral in the cross-section feather and prickly arrows of elongated pentagonal form with rhombic feather in the cross-section. The arrowhead with a hollow hafting element belongs to another type.
