Boiler units for burning agricultural and bark-and-wood waste in the agro-industrial power sector

Бесплатный доступ

Improving the energy efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, as well as the public energy sector in the Russian Federation as a whole, is currently impossible without the implementation of fully automated boiler units with modern solid fuel combustion technologies. This paper examines the calorific value of a fuel mixture of brown coal and rapeseed husks, and provides a comparative analysis with brown coal from the Orlovskoye deposit. The paper identifies the potential for using agricultural waste as fuel and its use in retort furnace boilers and swirlcombustion furnaces. The operating principle of a hot water boiler with swirl-combustion afterburning, fueled by BWW and a mixture of brown coal and BWW, is presented.
